### **What is SmartGas?**

SmartGas is the latest new feature within [CyberWallet](https://wallet.cyber.co), an ERC-4337 smart account, most suitable for a web3 citizen who uses a number Web3 applications across different blockchains. It empowers users to use a variety of tokens from different chains as gas, effectively breaking the barriers between blockchain networks.

**Key Features**

1. **Multi-Chain Convenience:** Perhaps the most striking feature of SmartGas is its ability to let users deposit native tokens from any chain* to pay for gas fees on another blockchain. For instance, one could deposit MATIC from Polygon into their SmartGas balance, which will then be reflected in its USD value at the time of deposit. That SmartGas balance can now be used for gas payment for a transaction on the Ethereum-based Optimism network. While you focus on your web3 experience, let CyberWallet handle the currency conversion.

2. **Eliminating Swap Fees:** Traditionally, converting tokens between different chains incurs significant swap fees. SmartGas eliminates this need, allowing users to maintain their assets in their original form while still enabling cross-chain functionality. This feature is not only cost-effective but also time-efficient, streamlining the process of managing different tokens.
Soon, with CyberWallet, users will be able to enable customizable security features like transaction limits, passkeys, etc.

3. **Enhanced Security:** One of the inherent risks in cryptocurrency and token management is security, especially in hot wallets. SmartGas offers additional security by having your CyberWallet manage the gas fee payments and your EOA (MetaMask etc.) simply be a depositor. Soon, with CyberWallet, users will be able to enable customizable security features like transaction limits, passkeys, etc.
