On April 7th, CyberConnect held its inaugural web3 metaverse native community call at Cyber Square, a customized space on Oasis Origin.

Community members submitted their wallet addresses through a community call announcement on Discord to gain access to Cyber Square on Oasis Origin. Upon entering, users appear as standardized "Slim" avatars, allowing them to freely interact with hosts and other users through bullet screens. **In the future, users will also have the option to display their own NFTs when entering the square**. The hosts on the main stage were Pisofa.eth and kevinlili.eth from the Cyber Community, who displayed CyberConnect's official website to users as their unique customized avatars.

The audience could apply to speak and was automatically transported to the main stage when given permission to do so. **Additionally, users' wallets automatically received Cyber Connect's airdrop upon entering the space**. The scene peaked with over 500 online users, and those who were unable to enter the space could still listen in on the Discord community call channel. These immersive social experiences are unique compared to traditional Twitter Spaces and Discord channels.

**The current tested version supports up to a thousand users on the same screen, and the space will be expanded in the future to accommodate up to ten thousand users simultaneously.** The next version of Oasis Origin Square is currently in beta testing and will feature AI NFT minting, adding a more entertaining element to users' web3 social experiences. The AI NFT functionality will be released in the next iteration, so stay tuned for more updates!

Upon reflecting on the events of the last few weeks, it’s clear now more than ever that a Web3 Social summer is coming 🥳

With around $50,000 in prizes, and a range of rewards including mentorship, seed funding opportunities, and more, the Connected 2023 demo day saw 57 projects compete for 6 categories of bounties. Recap: Connected 2023, A Web3 Social Hackathon by BNB Chain and CyberConnect

Plato Eats dApp, created by Plato Protocol, is a community-owned and community-driven restaurant discovery mobile application that aims to support local restaurants and help them thrive. The app is designed to incentivize users to post short videos and photos of their dining experiences and reward them for their verified review content (verified by captured receipt after paying for a meal). These rewards are funded by 70% of the marketing spend that restaurants spend on Plato Protocol for creating marketing campaigns displayed on Plato Eats dApp.

The brainchild of Robert Kao and Dante Sarigumba, Plato Protocol is the third company they have cofounded. The duo met back in 2003 while working as software engineers at an investment bank, and since then, they have been working together to create innovative products that bridge technology and real-world experiences.

Plato leverages CyberConnect's social graph protocol to create ccProfile and integrate the follow and like features. 5. **What is CyberAccount and how is different from my MetaMask wallet on Ethereum?**

Web3 users today interact with Ethereum using EOAs. This is the only way to start a transaction or execute a smart contract. This limits how users can interact with Ethereum and contributes to poor user experience like inability to do batch transactions or requiring users to always keep an ETH balance to cover gas. Your Metamask wallet is a commonly used browser-based EOA.CyberAccount, on the other hand, is an ERC-4337-compatible account infrastructure that implements account abstraction to unlock many benefits for the users, including:

✧ use dApps deployed on multiple blockchains without worrying about network switching

### Cyber Restaking Points

Cyber Restaking Points are designed to incentivize early stakers and communities that help bootstrap native liquidity to Cyber L2 from day one. Users can earn yield and points on their deposits, including ETH staking yield, ETH restaking yield, EigenLayer points, LRT points, and Cyber Restaking points.

After successfully registering a developer account and obtaining an API Key, you need to review the NFTScan API documentation. # Base NFT API Model

This comprises three primary model interfaces, each with an overview and explanation of core API fields to assist developers in accessing and utilizing data for their Dapp services under development.

**1/ Assets API:** “Assets” represent the most critical data fields within NFT, uniquely identifying and describing digital assets. Developers can extract “Assets” data from NFTs on the **Base** to gain comprehensive insights and construct relevant applications. The “Assets” object provides a unique identification for digital assets and data about their entire lifecycle, serving as a foundation for developers to understand and utilize NFTs.

**2/Transactions API:** The transaction model represents the complete transaction data for an NFT asset on the blockchain, offering developers a full view of an NFT’s transaction history. This includes NFT minting, transfers, sales, and other transaction activities, providing developers with an opportunity to deeply understand the flow and evolution of NFT assets within the **Base** ecosystem. NFTScan continuously aggregates the NFT transaction market and related contract information from various blockchain networks. Currently, NFTScan has compiled data for tracking and understanding NFT market dynamics, aiding developers in building NFT-based applications and tools.

**3/ Collections API**: NFTScan retrieves off-chain data related to NFT Collections, including descriptions, social media, and other fundamental information. This data is obtained from the most popular NFT markets provided through various blockchain networks. Additionally, floor price information is centralized data derived from order information on NFT markets, and it can be accessed via API.

# Base NFT API Retrieval

**1/ Retrieve Assets Series**

- Get NFTs by account (Retrieve NFTs using a wallet address)
- Get all NFTs by account (Retrieve all NFTs associated with a wallet address and group them by contract address. If the total number of NFTs owned by the account exceeds 2000, the returned NFTs will be limited to 2000 or less. In such cases, developers and users can use pagination queries to retrieve all NFTs owned by the account.)
- Get minted NFTs by account (Retrieve NFTs minted by a specific wallet address)
- Get NFTs by contract (Retrieve NFTs using a contract address, sorted by token_id in ascending order)
- Get single NFT (Retrieve details of a single NFT)
- Get multiple NFTs (Retrieve details of multiple NFTs from different contract addresses simultaneously)
- Search NFTs (This interface returns a list of NFT assets by applying search filters in the request body. Assets are sorted by nftscan_id in ascending order.)
- Get NFTs by attributes (This interface returns a set of NFTs belonging to contract addresses with specific attributes. NFTs are sorted by token_id in ascending order.)
- Get all multi-chain NFTs by account (This interface returns all multi-chain NFTs owned by a specific wallet address, grouped by contract address.)

Here we select the “**Get NFTs by attributes**” API “**/v2/assets/attributes**,” primarily to query and retrieve NFTs based on specific attributes of the NFT contract address, sorted in ascending order by token_id. The requested address is 0xfd794258aec191cce5e18e44dfa129431323ce99 with the name “Base Summer Punks.” The attribute name chosen is “Headwear,” and the attribute value selected is “Tiara.”

After selecting the parameters, click on “Try it” to view the retrieved array, which consists of a total of 112 sets of data. This indicates that 112 NFTs meet the specified attribute description. Each set of data includes:

**2/ Retrieve Transactions Series**

- Get transactions by account (This interface returns a list of NFT transactions for a wallet address)
- Get transactions by contract (This interface returns a list of NFT transactions for an NFT contract address
- Get transactions by NFT (This interface returns a list of NFT transactions for a single NFT)
- Search transactions (This interface returns a list of NFT transactions by applying search filters in the request body)
- Get transactions by address (This interface returns a list of NFT transactions filtered by transaction parameters)
- Get transactions by hash (This interface returns transaction records based on a list of transaction hashes)

Here we select the “**Get transactions by to address**” API endpoint, “**/v2/transactions/to/{to_address}**,” to retrieve transaction records with the following to address: 0x00000000000000adc04c56bf30ac9d3c0aaf14dc. The query parameter chosen is the Mint event type.

By clicking “Try it,” the resulting response data will contain all the key data of NFT Mint transactions under this to address. Besides the basic data such as transaction hash, block information, from and to addresses, contract address, and transaction timestamp, it will also include characteristic information of NFT transactions such as token ID and transaction amount.

**3/ Retrieve Collections Series**

- Get an NFT collection (Retrieve details based on the contract address of the collection, including an overview and classification of items based on descriptions, distribution of holders, average prices, floor prices, and other basic summary information)
- Search NFT collections (This interface returns information about collections by applying search filters in the request body, and the collections are sorted in ascending order based on the deployment block number)
- Get NFT collections by account (This interface returns a list of projects with the given account address, and the collections are sorted from high to low based on the floor price)
- Get NFT collections by ranking (This interface returns a list of projects with the given sorting field, and the collections are sorted based on the specified sorting field and direction)

Here we select the “**Get NFT collections by account**” API, “**/v2/collections/own/{account_address}**.” We are retrieving all the NFT collections held by the wallet address 0x85447407829fa2deb31e10beec8f6f40981d7f44, specifically those that follow the ERC721 protocol. It can be observed that a total of 14 items are returned.

**4/ Collection Statistics: Statistical Analysis for Collection**

- Collection Statistics (This interface provides an analytical overview of NFT Collection statistics)
- Collection Trade Distribution (This interface primarily provides the distribution of project trades)
- Collection Trending Statistics (Mainly returns trading statistics ranking for a project)
- Collection Holding Amount Distribution (This interface can provide information on the distribution of NFT project holdings)
- Collection Holding Period Distribution (Data returns information about the distribution of NFT project holding periods)
- Collection Blue Chip Statistics (Overview statistics for blue-chip projects)
- Collection Blue Chip List (List of blue-chip projects associated with the project, referring to NFTScan Blue Chip Collection)
- Collection Top Holder (Distribution of the top holders of the Collection)

Here we select the **Collection Top Holder** API, “**/v2/statistics/collection/holder/{contract_address}**”, to retrieve detailed data and distribution of the top holder for the collection named Base Squad with the contract address 0x3adeb28ed99068cc2d03c506047e6166f27e1c84.

**5/ Account Statistics Series**

- Account Overview Statistics (This interface returns an overview of statistical information for an account address, refer to NFTScan Overview)
- Account Holding Distribution (This interface returns statistical information on the distribution of NFT holdings for an account address, refer to NFTScan Portfolio)
- Account Holding NFT Trending (This interface returns statistical information on the trending NFT holdings or quantities for an account address, refer to NFTScan Portfolio)

**6/ Analytic Statistics Series**

This series of interfaces is typically used to access various information related to data analysis and statistics on NFTScan Starknet. Interfaces such as Trade Ranking, Mint Amount, and Gas Ranking allow developers or users to query, analyze, and retrieve statistical data related to specific data sets or metrics. They can be used for various purposes, including market analysis, trend tracking, investment decision-making, and understanding the nature of specific data.

**7/ Refresh Metadata**

- Refresh NFT metadata
- Refresh NFT metadata by contract

Interfaces like Refresh Metadata can assist developers or users in submitting backend tasks to refresh metadata. Once reviewed, these tasks will refresh the specified item or the entire contract metadata.

**8/ Other**

- Get the latest block number (Returns the latest block number reached by NFTScan)
- Get NFT amount by account (Returns information on the quantity of ERC721 and ERC1155 NFTs owned by the account address specified in the request body)
- Get NFT owners by contract (Returns a list of owners for the specified ERC721 NFT contract address, with NFTs sorted by token_id)
- Get owners by an NFT (Returns a list of owners for the specified ERC1155 NFT, with NFTs sorted by account_address)

# Building Relevant NFT API Requests

Building and calling the NFTScan NFT API is a simple and convenient process. Developers only need to browse the API documentation, find the desired endpoint, and understand information such as the endpoint address, request method, and request parameters. Then, depending on their preference, they can choose a programming language like JavaScript, Python, Java, etc., and use the HTTP request library of that language to send the constructed request to the API endpoint. They can also filter the required headers and parameters. The entire calling process is fast and convenient, and developers can easily follow the instructions in the NFT API documentation to make the call.

Here, we use **Chain Overview** **“/v2/statistics/chain/overview”**, to retrieve the overall data on the Base chain. To make the request, we use an HTTP GET request to access the NFTScan API. With Python and the requests library, you can construct the request like this:

We're excited to share our next steps as we move forward from the Cyber developer mainnet. Over the coming weeks, we'll be working closely with key infrastructure partners, such as EigenLayer, EigenDA, Optimism, LayerZero, and QuickNode, to ensure the security and performance of Cyber leading up to the official mainnet campaign starting in mid-June.

One of the most critical parts of this process, especially for our community members who’ve already participated in staking CYBER, is the introduction of Cyber Mainnet Staking.

With Cyber Mainnet Staking, CYBER holders can utilize and stake CYBER tokens to:

- secure the network as a node operators on Cyber,
- earn & exercise voting rights, and
- receive economic rewards from the ecosystem.

Here's how stakers can earn extra rewards by joining Early Access to CYBER Mainnet Staking from May 22 to June 3, and what to expect after the official launch of CYBER Mainnet Staking on June 8.

## Early Access to Cyber Mainnet Staking

On June 8, 1,000,000 CYBER of staking rewards will be allocated to our stakers based on their Season 1 staking points. On this date, Cyber Mainnet Staking will officially starts, allowing users to stake CYBER on Cyber using EigenLayer’s Actively Validated Services (AVS). This will power Cyber’s essential decentralized infrastructure, including the sequencer, verifier, and CyberDB.

Meanwhile, we have opened up early access to mainnet staking on [https://cyber.co/stake](https://cyber.co/stake). If you currently stake CYBER on ETH, OP, or BSC, you have two options:

**Option 1:** Opt in Early Access from May 22 to June 3 to earn additional rewards.

- An extra 30% multiplier is applied to your Season 1 staking points from Mar 8 to June 8, resulting in 30% more staking rewards.
- Your staked CYBER is automatically migrated to Cyber, saving you up to $50 in gas and transaction fees.
- A total of 10,000,000 Link3 Score is distributed among Early Access Users.
- During Cyber Mainnet Staking, stakers can withdraw or unstake anytime following a 7-day waiting period.

**Option 2:** Not opt in of Early Access and claim rewards on June 8th.

- You can manually bridge staked CYBER to Cyber, however, a gas fee applies unlike if you participate in Early Access.
- You can unstake and withdraw CYBER on the original blockchain used for staking, subject to a 7-day waiting period.

## Cyber Mainnet Staking

The launch of the Cyber mainnet introduces Cyber Mainnet Staking. This innovative mechanism not only bolsters network security but also democratizes governance, allowing users to actively participate in decision-making processes. We are extremely grateful for our community who have already staked more than 4.2 million CYBER even before the mainnet launch. We can’t wait to share with you what’s coming for Cyber Mainnet Staking!

**Governance**

CYBER stakers, along with CYBER holders, can propose and vote on CyberDAO governance proposals on Cyber.

**Network Security**

Cyber utilizes EigenLayer's Actively Validated Services (AVS) to build up the fundamental decentralized infrastructures such as sequencer, verifier, and CyberDB. Staked CYBER and restaked ETH are utilized as delegations to different AVS operators running this infrastructure.

**Staking Rewards**

CYBER is staked to AVS operators that run sequencers, verifiers, and CyberDB to enhance Cyber's security. In return, it is intended that CYBER stakers will share the revenue from these services programmatically.

From June 8 to September 8, 500k CYBER rewards will be allocated to incentivize mainnet stakers during this period. To supply ample rewards for CYBER stakers initially and ensure long-term sustainability, a total staking Incentive of 5.5M CYBER has been specifically designed to be distributed over the next six years.

**Ecosystem Airdrop & Launchpad**

Cyber attracts top-notch developers who are passionate about creating innovative services and products. The platform offers an ideal environment for developers to express their creativity and bring ideas to life. As the Cyber ecosystem continues to thrive and expand, CYBER stakers enjoy the potential benefits of receiving points, token airdrops, and other rewards from the ecosystem.*

## What is a VPS?

A Virtual Private Service (VPS) is a hosting service which provides virtual environment on a physical server, which is owned and managed by a web hosting provider. To keep it simple, it’s like having a computer which is connected to 24/7 internet and which can be accessed from anywhere and at anytime when it’s online. There are many providers out their that provides this service like Google, Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.

## Does installing something on a VPS affects my physical computer?

No. Whatever you do with your VPS like running some bots or running a node will not take any space/any ram on your physical computer.

## Why do we need a physical machine to connect to a VPS?

Well, there should be some input to get the output. This input is provided by your physical computer and you need it to connect it to your vps to be able to use it.

## What is SSH?

SSH, also known as Secure Shell or Secure Socket Shell, is a network protocol that gives users, particularly system administrators, a secure way to access a computer over an unsecured network. It’s a protocol to access your VPS.

## What is a node?

In computer science, the term “node” simply means a device that plays a part in a larger network. A node is a point of intersection/connection within a data communication network. In an environment where all devices are accessible through the network, these devices are all considered nodes. The individual definition of each node depends on the type of network it refers to. In crypto, nodes are an integral part of the blockchain to validate transactions and keep the network safe.

Nodes are for maintaining the blockchain, validating a transaction, maintaining records and stuff.

## What is a Full Node?

A full node is a program that fully validates transactions and blocks. There are many types of full node like validator node, miner node, staking node.etc.

## What is a Validator Node?

A validator node is a special type of full node that participates in **“**consensus**.”** By participating in consensus, validator nodes become responsible for verifying, voting on, and maintaining a record of transactions.

Consensus refers to the rules by which a blockchain network operates and confirms the validity of information written in blocks.

## What is a Light Node?

Light Node is similar to a full node in terms of its functions. But just like the name suggests, instead of storing the entirety of the blockchain in its memory, it only stores parts of the blockchain that are relevant to the transaction being performed.

## Can I run a node in my spare Laptop or PC?

If you meet the requirements, then yes. But do note that your machine should run 24/7 with active internet connection. It really becomes hard to run it 24/7. That’s why I will suggest buying a VPS.

## Can I run 2 nodes in a single VPS?

To answer that, have a look at the requirements of 2 different projects.

Celestia Validator Node Requirements

If you have a VPS which has both the **specs combined**, then you certainly can run 2 nodes in a single VPS. However, I will strongly suggest not doing so. Sometimes when a node ends up using too much memory, there will not be enough left for the second node. Then, both can crash and you’ll have to start them again.

## Do I need to keep my Laptop/PC running to keep the node running?

NO. You are running the node in your VPS which is somewhere else and is connected to internet 24/7. After setting up your node, you can just disconnect from it and it will run on it’s server. You don’t have to do anything other than updating the node when an update comes.

## Can I Buy VPS by paying through crypto?

Yes you can. There are sites like Hostinger which provides payment through coingate. But I will not recommend it as plans in Hostinger are quite expensive compared to what I have seen on different services. So, why waste money? If you find some cheap and genuine site, do let us know.

## What to do after successfully running the node in a VPS?

Basically nothing after that. You’ll have to just keep checking that it’s up and running and update it as new update comes. Nothing else.

## I’m having some issues in setting up the node. What to do?

If you followed the guide and did everything correctly, you should be all set. If you are getting some errors, you might have missed something. You should re-install the VPS and then do everything again. If you are still getting errors, that suggests that there has been some changes in the node and it will require few more things to do. We update the node guide as it is released and keep everything on track but sometime there isn’t much info in the project’s docs or discord. We try to get information but it takes some time. So kindly wait. If you fixed the problem, please do share with us. It will help the whole community.

## There are no Incentives for running “this” node. Why should I run it?

You all will agree that being early in a project really helps. We post only potential airdrops on [BlokDrops](http://blokdrops.medium.com/). Running a node will help you become early for it. You’ll know what to do when incentivized testnet comes. And who knows if you get some roles in “this” project’s discord, they might prove to be beneficial in future?

By “this” I mean any project and have not specified anything specifically.

## Can i use my phone to run a node?

Yes. You’ll still need to buy VPS for it. There are many apps in Play Store/App Store which can help you to connect to your VPS. For setting it up, just follow the guide.

## My connection got interrupted while setting up a node, what to do?

When a certain installation or file download takes time, you just leave your PC and sometimes it happens that it gets disconnected. The installation/download will still be happening in the VPS as it has nothing to do with your physical computer. You can resume from that point. Also, do keep in mind that during node setups you have to go to different folders. So, go to that folder and resume again. If you are having issue doing it, just re-install the VPS and start from the beginning, this time trying to maintain a regular connection.

## How to Add Continuum's Certificates to Your LinkedIn Profile

Step 1: Add Your Wallet to MetaMask

Before you can showcase your Continuum certificates on LinkedIn, you need to add your wallet to MetaMask. We generate wallets for every new user who registers for an account on our app using traditional methods. 

To access your account's private keys, reach out to our[ friendly team](https://discord.com/invite/continuum).

**Once you have your wallet's private keys, follow these steps to add your wallet to MetaMask:**

1. Install the MetaMask browser extension.
2. Click on the MetaMask icon in your browser's toolbar.
3. Click on "Import Wallet" and enter your wallet's private key.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet to OpenSea

Next, connect your wallet to [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/continuumcoursebadge), a digital marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including our Continuum certificates.

**To connect your wallet to OpenSea:**

1. Go to the OpenSea website and click on "My Account."
2. Click on "Wallet" and then click on "Connect a Wallet."

After you have connected your wallet to OpenSea, click on "More" and navigate to "Hidden" to view your Continuum certificates. Each Continuum certificate has a unique token ID.

Step 4: Copy the Certificate URL

Click on any one of your Continuum certificates and copy the URL. You will need this URL to add your certificate to your LinkedIn profile.

Step 5: Add Your Continuum Certificate to Your LinkedIn Profile

**To add your Continuum certificate to your LinkedIn profile**:

1. Log in to your LinkedIn account and navigate to "Licenses & Certifications."
2. Click on the "+" icon to add a new certification.
3. Fill in the required details, including the name of the course (in the "Name" section), "Continuum" as the issuing organization, the token ID (found on OpenSea) in the "Credential ID" section, and the OpenSea URL that you copied in step 4 in the "Credential URL" section.
4. Add the appropriate skills to the "Skills" section.
