**What is a DAO?**

## Contribution Activities

Contributions can take pretty much any form, be it on-chain or off-chain, as long as it is verifiable. Every community may have different goals and value systems that determine what actions should be recognized and for how much. Naturally so, the contribution activities at FanClubs can always be customized by community admins.

In the case of CyberConnect, we have the following categories of contributions: Social Twitter Engagements, CyberConnect Protocol Engagements, Referral, and Previous Contribution.

### Twitter Engagements

- You will need to connect and verify your Twitter account before proceeding.
- Engage with Tweets by @CyberConnectHQ within that week or create content and mention @CyberConnectHQ. Come back to check and claim the points.

### CyberConnect Protocol Engagements

CyberConnect is a decentralized social graph protocol. Different dApps, Link3 being only one of them, build on top of the protocol and leverage different protocol components. Social data and identity on CyberConnect protocol are shared across dApps in the ecosystem so no matter where you are, all the engagements with the CyberConnect protocol will stay with your ccProfile identity and contribute back to the protocol.

Go explore different apps built on top of CyberConnect and experience all the fun Web3 native social features. Play and earn points through the following contribution activities:

- Collect an EssenceNFT
- Create a post
- Like a post
- Comment

### Referral

Every FanClub member has a unique referral link that can be used by new members to join. For each successful referral, both the referrer and the referee will receive extra FanPoints as rewards! Additionally, the referrer will get 10% of the referee’s earnings in the FanClub. Please note that the referral rules are subject to change for anti-bot purposes.

### Previous Contributions

There is also an additional category of special contributions:

- Historical Engagements: one-off points to claim based on your previous verifiable contributions such as the amount of W3STs claimed in the past and Twitter engagements in the last 30 days.

## FanPoints

For every completed contribution, you will be assigned FanPoints(FP) to claim. Connect your wallet on the FanClub page and check on each contribution for the eligible points.

### **Levels and Total FanPoints**

Points claimed will accumulate on your FanPass as Total FanPoints and you will move up the levels accordingly.

Level testifies to your total standing in terms of contribution to the community over time. This is one of the most key info that communities distinguish actual core long-term contributors from mere window shoppers. Expect this to have significance down the line.

### **Caps**

FanPoints vary by contribution. And for those contributions that are not one-off, there might be daily or weekly caps to the total points claimable from that activity.

- Contributions with daily caps.
- Currently, points for every CyberConnect Protocol Engagements contribution are capped for every day. It refreshes at 0:00 UTC every day.
- Contributions with weekly caps.
- Currently, points for every Social Twitter Engagements contribution are capped for every week. It refreshes at 0:00 UTC on every Sunday.

## Rewards

Incentives and rewards are essential for keeping a large community thriving towards the shared vision. Valuable contributions should be duly recognized and rewarded in a timely manner.

Besides long-term recognition and future rewards according to Levels and Total FanPoints, CyberConnect FanClub has weekly grand raffles. Raffle tickets to each weekly raffle can be redeemed with FanPoints at a cost of 500 FPs and the quantity you purchase is not limited.

Currently, there are two kinds of prizes to be won:

- **Mystery Boxes:**
- currently the most prestigious perks in the CyberConnect/Link3 ecosystem. Limited in total supply and currently traded on OpenSea, Mystery Boxes can be opened for Shards and other perks. # Smug Music Show

- This was our exploration of Web3 music. The multilingual Twitter Space music show had more than 1.1k listeners, and we invited Grammy-nominated singer Shontelle to join us and gave an excellent performance. Our partners for the event included ALPACADABRAAZ, Nswap, AKCBcn, Theirsverse, bfrenz, WONDERPALS, and Mises Browser.
- The performance segments of the nine members were later produced into “exclusive mini-albums,” which accumulated 110k views, 6k likes, and 12k retweets on Twitter.
- The SmugMusic Twitter account also broke 10k followers in April.

# Exhibition

- Smugbunny’s first offline exhibition was fully prepared in April. Our exhibition partner handcrafted a 60cm Smugbunny model, which will be located in the center of the exhibition venue. But that’s not all — it will also have a handcrafted diamond butterfly bow tie around its neck, sponsored by one of our community members who specialize in innovative diamond brands. The raw diamond materials are worth over $50,000.

Contributor must meet at least two of the following criteria: 

- Have a community contributor role on Discord (mail-boy, ambassadors, contributors, designers, content creators).
- Have been active on Dework in the last three months.
- Have been active on Discord in the last three months.
- Have contributed at least once through local marketing, merch design, merch production, etc.

Finally, if the contributor has already claimed more Mystery Boxes from earlier distribution, they will not be eligible for additional rewards. For example, Bob has claimed 6 Mystery Boxes from earlier campaigns but also qualified for Tier 2. They will not receive additional Mystery Boxes in this season of Community Rewards.

### **How to Claim**

Community Rewards: Season 1 is the first rewards program on **Optimism** with account abstraction. 

Please note:

**✧** CYBER can only be claimed by your CyberAccount. Each CyberConnect is owned and managed by your Externally Owned Account (EOA) wallet, like MetaMask. **✧** Your total rewards allocation is calculated by combining eligible NFTs in your CyberAccount and your EOA wallet used to interact with CyberConnect protocol. For example, Mini Shard claimed on Polygon with your CyberAccount + Mini Shard won through FanClub on Link3.

**✧** A Merkle Tree for the Community Rewards: Season 1 will be deployed on chain.

**✧** To claim, your CyberAccount must first be deployed on Optimism and have gas to execute the transaction. If you have not deployed your CyberAccount on Optimism yet, you can do so on the [rewards page](https://cyber.co/rewards).
